Yep, here I am in my little brother's house, updating my journal using his connection. I call this a special occassion because it's been quite a long while since the last time I visit this house of him. The last visit was probably before he gave me my Intuos4 about 2 years ago. :iconhakaselookleftniplz:

Although there is something different on my visit this time. Instead of driving together with my husband, I ride commuter trains from my town to this town where my little bro lives. It's actually my little bro's suggestion to choose trains over our (me and my husband's) own cars. He said it's to minimize carbon emission within our daily activities and also because he claims that riding commuter trains can be cheaper than buying gas used during driving between mine and this house of his. Maybe that's why I rarely see him driving to my house recently. :iconhakaseconfuseniplz:

To be honest the train trip was pretty much comfortable with air conditioned coaches and all, but the trip to the station itself was quite a hassle since we have to change buses once or twice. I thought there was a direct bus from my neighborhood to the station. :iconhakaseblushingniplz:

Since it's pretty much our first experience with the commuter trains electronic ticketing system, we feel quite awkward as if we were foreigners. Can't be helped, this system of daily deposit ticket a.k.a Tiket Harian Berjaminan is somewhat confusing and we're fortunate enough that the officers in the stations are rather helpful. I heard there are also multi-trip tickets for those who commute everyday by trains which is easier to use, but since I don't ride trains for my daily activities, there is no use for me to get one.

My little bro showed me a wikipedia page regarding this commuter line electronic ticketing ---> About Commuter Jabodetabek and Electronic Ticketing. There is also a map of the entire commuter line system. If you see the map, my home is around 'Bogor' station while my little bro's is around 'Sudimara' station.

It's so thoughtful of him to pick us up at the Sudimara station, although instead of driving his own car, he called a taxi to drive us from the station to his home. Can't be helped, his car is a two-seater despite of being 4-door sedan.

Oh yeah, since last Saturday was my birthday, I had a small celebration in my house with all my family members, close friends and neighbors attending it. My little bro couldn't be there so here I'm coming to bring him something from the celebration. I also thank my close friends here in dA for the birthday greeting. Thanks a lot, my dearest friends, Those birthday greetings mean everything to me. :iconhakasenyanniplz:

Now I'm wondering how we will get back home, especially from this house of my little bro to the railroad station. Seems like calling a taxi (again) would be the most convenient choice, teehee~... :iconhakaseshyniplz:
