This time I went to a drifting competition held in a local raceway. There I saw Natsuki participated and drifting in her silver 350Z. Seemed like she's really determined this time, to even remodify her car by installing weld - in roll cage and removing the passenger seat. She even put in a different pair of rims on the rear axle in order to make her car slides easier.
I couldn't miss the chance so I took a picture of Natsuki in the middle of her tandem (1 on 1) battle. The battle was really fierce, she started as the chaser and bumped into the car in front of her so many times until she finally lost her right door and broke the Z's wing spoiler. Not too long after that, her right side skirt came off and grind on the asphalt, letting out some sparks.
Or that's just me trying to act like a news reporter...
This is actually a request from
(and maybe some other cars & anime enthusiasts), an artwork of Natsuki behind the wheel with the pedalwork exposed.
I have to admit that I meet some difficulties when working on this artwork, that's why it takes so long to finish this since I had to ask my BF and my lil' bro Ditto-kun for references. In this case, I drive my BF's Impreza and Ditto-kun's Corolla in order to get the feeling (and the right posture) of driving a race car, since both of their cars have roll cages.
And to expose the pedal, I need to slice off the Z's body a little bit, especially around the pedals. Fortunately, this angle really makes it easy to do all that. Maybe I have to slice off more parts (i.e. dashboard, gearbox and propeller shaft) if I chose to make a picture from the opposite direction.
After all, I hope all cars and anime enthusiast out there like this picture.
