Driving with Yasuna by NotoAyako Driving with Yasuna by NotoAyako
Once in my weekend, I got bored. Fortunately I found a newly bought car magazine (it was bought by my dad). There I read an article which is a report of an interview with a new rising star in the world of street racing. Usually I give no attention to such articles but I made an exception this time since the main star here is a female street racer with the name of Kamiizumi Yasuna.

Within the article there is a photograph of her, driving her S2000 AP2 with a little bit of the parts revealed, almost look like an X-Ray. Judging from the angle, I think it must be taken from a car next to Yasuna's S2000 which the photographer ride. And now I brought that picture here so everyone can enjoy it.

And here I am writing a made up story again... gomen... gomen... :icondragonxpplz:

This is actually a follow up to :iconmcmxc2:'s request. He really likes tp see girls behind the wheel and here I made a deviation to 'fulfil' that obsession of his.

This picture started from a sketch, traced in Illustrator. Then I got the idea of showing a little bit of S2000's gearbox to spice this artwork up. The picture of the gearbox itself was downloaded from twallpaperweb.org.

I have to admit that the work on this artwork flowed slowly since I'm currently busy preparing a very important event (what even is it? it's a s-e-c-r-e-t).

Just for Information for those who haven't known, this artwork has a 'prequel'. It's here

I knew I recognized the car:)! I made what you might call a pretty unique OC that's pretty tied to driving an S2000;) It's a Honda, right:)?

Oh, she's not my OC, she is a character from an anime entitled 'Kashimashi'. Google it and I'm sure you'll find more information about the anime, and this character, in an instant.

So this artwork is more like a fan art. She's one of my favorite characters since she's an elegant and graceful type of girl.

And yes, you're right... This car is an S2000, or more exactly Honda S2000 AP2 JDM spec equipped with C-West aero kits. You can take a look at the car here.

There is actually another artwork of Yasuna-chan in my gallery, you can take a look at it here if you want.:iconmiyukiplz:

But after all your work is pretty neat... :iconnodding:

Well... I hope I could, but drawing human in this kind of state is just not my style. I mean, sliced panels? I don't really like X-ray view-esque picture like this. Feels like I ruin some beautiful cars and plan to scrap 'em real soon. :iconnoesplz:

I'm gonna keep making picture of girls and cars, but in a more normal way, without this kind of slices on the cars. :iconsighingplz:

yeah, she does... from what it looks like I presume that this picture was taken at the speed of 60km/h (hey, it's not in the middle of a race so there is no need to go too fast, isn't it?). :iconimhappyplz:

In the highway, yes, 120 km/h isn't fast. But this one's in mountain pass. 120km/h and you'd have to brake as hard as possible for the hairpin ahead? I don't think so... :icondontunderstandplz:

She isn't she is 18 when this picture is taken so she's not too young to drive the S2000. But if you mean too young to wear the 5-point harness and somehow make it looks a bit loose, then I've got to tell you that there is a personal reason for that.

You know, I just don't want her to look like those show girls who wear racing seatbelts just to cover their ni**les. That would just bring a disgrace to us, racing enthusiasts. So that's why I made it a bit loose in order not to make the chest seems too tight.

I hope you understand that... :iconarigatouplz:

Nah... that's because I had to expose the pedal works. If not, I can simply made it an artwork of a driving girl, without any needs of revealing the drivetrain like I did in this one artwork. :iconsighingplz:

Well... You have my promise there. I promise you that I'll soon upload an artwork of a rebrushed Ford Falcon GT-P with carbon fiber accent and a girl character behind the wheel, for sure...! :icondeterminedplz:

To tell you the trusth it wasn't my personal intention to make this artwwork at the first place. As you can read above, this is a request from a friend of me here, who's a man.

Hope that answers since I don't really understand your question... :icondragonxpplz:
