599 GTO Highway Patrol by NotoAyako 599 GTO Highway Patrol by NotoAyako
This is actually a promised car for :iconbayubaron: since I while ago I told him that I'll draw a car that's out of my habit. Well... since I usually draw Japanese and Australian cars, I decided to draw European car as a change of pace and also to learn European cars' design lines. And now I've just realized that he celebrates his birthday on August 17th, so let's just call this car a birthday present for him. Happy Birthday, buddy.. May your wishes and hopes come true. And I deeply apologize for every mistakes and harsh words that came out of me which may have hurted you. Also his birthday seems to fall at the same day as The Republic of Indonesia's Independence day. So in order to celebrate both, I decided to have a car that based on real car in Indonesia.

Now for the explanation, this car has the livery which is based on Indonesia's Highway Patrol or it's just simply called "PatWal" (Patroli dan Pengawalan / Patrol and Escort). Their car line up consists of wide variety of cars, such as Mitsubishi Galant VR4, Lancer EX, Toyota Fortuner, Mazda6, Ford Focus, etc. This 599 GTO is aimed to be an (imaginary) addition to their car line up, especially for escorting Exotic Cars owner clubs on their weekend ride and perhaps, high speed pursuit.

As seen beneath the front bumper, this car isn't a stock anymore, since it's 6.0 L F140C V12 engine got extra twin snails as well as 6 - speed sequential gearbox and carbon composite braking system. To ensure the driver's and passenger's safety, a pair of Recaro RS-G bucket seats are installed inside the cabin.

There is another version of this picture as well (just a change of background, though). It can be seen here.

Super cool and super awesome highway patrol (police) supercars, it's the best highway patrol supercar to catch speeders, in United Arab Emirate (UAE), the police cars they use is Lamborghini Reventon, Ferrari FF, Aston Martin One 77, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Nissan GT-R, Bentley Continental GT, Porsches Panamera GTS, Bugatti Veyron, and more coolest cars in UAE. :D

Well... I don't know much about police cars in UAE except that they actually use those exotics for tourist attraction more than actual high speed pursuit. :iconyuisheepishplz:

Although honestly, I'd like to see a pursuit that involves some GT-R's and illegal street racers in Wangan sometimes, but I guess that kind of video is rare, isn't it...? :iconyuihmmplz:

There is a web video of Dubai supercars police, they use it not just for tourist attractions and other, but also law police and highway patrol, I've been doing my homework, watch Dubai Police via Youtube and you'll like it. :iconrafaelplz:…

Wow... At least you're proud to say that you've done your homework. Well done, buddy... :iconyukkolikeniplz:

I take it that Dubai Police Force use these cars for highway patrol because citizens there also have supercars such as Bentleys, Porsches and even Koenigseggs as well. This is their way to keep up with those fast cars, am I correct...? :iconyukkothinkingniplz:

You are correct, supercars is the most logical and excellent vehicles to catch other cars fast and fully ensure the safety of the road areas, even South Korea use Lamborghini Gallardo as police car and UK such as Lamborghini Gallardo and Caparo F1 as police vehicles, Germany including Autobahn use Porsches, Brabus, BMW as police supercars, and more. :D

Well... Those cars can be used to show off the police force, too... So other drivers would think thousand of times before speeding. :iconpervmonkeyplz:

A little bit different here. Instead of exotics, we use fully tuned sleeper cars to catch speeders on highways, such as mentioned on the description there; Mitsubishi Galant VR-4. :iconahemplz:

You're absolutely right and I agree with you, in UK (United Kingdom) they use Mitsubishi Evolution X and Lexus ISF as Police cars and Victoria, Australia, they use Mitsubishi Evolution X as police cars, but some countries such as UAE and more are lucky and have enough fund to purchase and use super vehicles as emergency vehicles. :D :) B-) :winner:

Hmm... Victorian Police use Evo X, eh...? Well... that car might handle better than V6 Commodore, which obviously can't keep up with V8 sedans such as HSV Clubsport or GTS or FPV Falcon GT. There's even a video in Youtube of how the cops don't have any guts against an FPV Falcon GT... :iconkonatagiggleplz:
